Vertec have been working alongside Savills as the main contractor on a £2.4 million fire remediation project in Coventry. We have found Savills open book approach and honesty one of the vital ingredients on such a challenging project. This nine-storey office block has proven to be challenging with several design details relating to the building meeting current good practices and fire regulations. This collaborative approach merges the distinct roles of design and construction into a single entity, fostering a seamless and efficient workflow that delivers projects with unparalleled quality and precision.

From day one, Vertec project management team and installation team were professional and proactive in all aspects of the works, working well not only with the project site team, but with other contractors onsite at the same time.

The end result was a well organised team that produced a fantastic finish to the roof and the cladding.

On completion of the project, following an internal end of contract review, where each of the contractors are scored on quality, approach, teamwork, health and safety and a whole host of other parameters Vertec scored 10s across the board.

In 2024, Vertec completed their first project with Willmott Dixon South, Dorset Police HQ. The project was a great success and a pleasure to be involved in.
