Project Description
Work Completed : Rainscreen façade and composite panels, plus single-ply roof
Vertec worked with SDC to provide the waterproofing and solid elements of the façade.
The roof is a Sika Sarnafil membrane installed onto tapered insulation, all laid over concrete planks. We have had to co-ordinate the solar panel system to ensure compatability with the roofing membrane and develop bespoke details for the plant across the roof.
The façade consists of a teracotta rainscreen system with Eurobond Rainspan panels providing the backing wall. However the Rainspan hides a complex amount of detailing to ensure compatibility with the curtain wall system and fresh air louvres which provide the ventilation for the building. The other finishes are bespoke aluminium flashings finished in Syntha Pulvin Zircon powder coating and Prodema timber laminate resin back panels.
